The city of Hartford, Connecticut, felt ‘larger than life’ after hosting the third annual ’90s Con’ during the weekend of March 28-30, as sold-out crowds filled the Connecticut Convention Center for a nostalgic celebration of ’90s pop culture.

Known as ‘The Raddest Celebration This Side of the Millennium,’ 90’s Con showcased a delightful array of retro merchandise, countless photo opportunities featuring beloved 90’s backdrops, and a variety of meet-and-greet booths where fans could chat with and get signatures from their favorite stars of the era. Among the celebrities who joined us for the weekend were the casts of Scream, Saved by the Bell, Boy Meets World, and Charmed, just to name a few. Fans were even saying, ‘Quit playing games with my heart,’ as other guests included AJ McLean from the Backstreet Boys, Kel Mitchell dressed as Ed from Good Burger, the Lawrence Brothers, and even the iconic Steve Urkel himself.
Welcome to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger, can I take your order?
90’s Con was not just a nostalgic journey for sitcom and boy band enthusiasts across New England; it was also the most seamless experience I’ve ever had at a convention. The staff were friendly and engaged with every guest, crowds were managed effortlessly, and there was ample space to relax and recharge when needed. Throughout the weekend, various celebrity panels took place, and the seating process for these was remarkably well-organized.

Whether you’re asking the original Ghostface what his favorite scary movie is, snapping photos with your friends in front of Bayside High School, or picking up a new favorite piece of merchandise from this beloved throwback era, 90’s Con is a cherished tradition that Hartford will warmly embrace for years to come.
